As a part of activity for SEMS Lab assistant (LA), Sensing Journey is the necessary one. Sensing Journey was held to increase interpersonal skill and Emotional Intelligence for SEMS Lab assistant to be a good communicator and feel sensitive with their surroundings.

Sensing Journey 2011 was held on Tuesday, August 16th 2011 after new students visiting program. This time, SEMS Lab assistant had a journey to ‘Museum Perumusan Naskah Proklamasi’ and watched ‘Napak Tilas Proklamasi.’ The topic is about how to reach spirit of our proclamator and independence fighter to trigger a creation for industrial engineer for fulfilling Indonesia’s Independence.

SEMS Lab Assistant also visited inside the museum and got the feel how great our proclamators and national figures fight for liberty.  After that we hang around at Taman Menteng, waiting for breakfasting together with Mrs. Nessy and Mr. Haryadi, a Deputy Governor of Jakarta. What a cheerful and very friendly moment!

After breakfasting together, Mrs. Nessy and SEMS Lab assistant went to museum again to attend sharing session with veterans, historians, and Indonesia heritage activists. There are a lot of new knowledge was shared. One word for this year sensing journey: GREAT!
