Irvanu Rahman graduated from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Universitas Indonesia in 2013. He received Fast-Track Master Scholarship from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture and finished his bachelor and master within five years, 2008 – 2013. Irvanu continued his study to the United Kingdom and obtained his MPA in 2017 from the Department of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Public Policy, University College London.

Irvanu joined the SEMS Lab as research assistant in 2012 and became a full-time researcher right after finishing his studies at the Universitas Indonesia. His research focuses on the use of system modeling and policy analysis for sustainability assessment of development and climate change policies.
